  3. Result

Grew the roster from 15 to 46 agents at a $487 cost per acquisition.

Perspective

How I think

Data comes first, but only as a filter, not a finish line. Before any campaign or creative brief, I want to know what the numbers already say: which channels are actually converting, where budget is being wasted, and what the audience is doing versus what we assume they're doing. At Next Dental Lab, that meant looking past vanity signups to see which channels were fatiguing and which were compounding. The data made the reallocation decision obvious before a single new ad was built.

Strategy is where that data becomes a decision. It's not enough to know a channel is underperforming; the harder question is what to do about it: cut it, fix it, or replace it, and with what. That's the layer most marketers skip past on the way to "let's make some content," and it's usually the reason campaigns underperform even when the creative is good.

Creative and content come last, and they inherit direction rather than invent it. Once the strategy is set, creative's job is to execute it well. The message, channel, and audience are already decided, so creative can focus entirely on quality of execution instead of guessing at direction. This is the same sequence whether I'm running a nine-brand portfolio or a single-lab budget alone: data narrows the options, strategy picks one, and creative brings it to life.

Team

Leadership

At Techstrong Group, I led a 6-person marketing team supporting 9 B2B technology brands — a structure that only works when people are set up to own their lane. My job was to keep priorities clear across brands, protect focus when everything was urgent, and build marketers who grew past the role they were hired into.

Now at Next Dental Lab, I run the full marketing function independently — the same discipline applies without a team to delegate to: clear prioritization, rigorous reporting, and treating every channel decision like it has to justify itself on results. Leading a team taught me what to protect; running solo has sharpened what actually matters.
